When my team went undefeated freshman year, it was the most fantastic feeling. It showed how all our hard work had finally paid off, in the best way possible. As a captain, it meant even more to me because I was able to lead my teammates into victory every single game by showing them that putting forth their best efforts would only benefit our team and bring us success. Being a captain helped me realize just how vital hard work, dedication, mental and physical toughness, and coachability are. I am a scholar-athlete and academics are a huge part of my life. I love to learn and be a part of the classroom. My education is my number one priority and, so I am looking for a school not only suited for me athletically but also academically.

I am a hard-worker on and off the field and strive to do my best and accomplish my goals no matter if its in the classroom, doing community service, or in the weight room. I love to be challenged and will not let anything get in my way of completing a task. My father always told me the two most essential qualities in an athlete are not talent and athleticism, but hard-work and coachability. Every day I try to do my best and take criticism to improve my performance in the classroom and on the field. I am attentive and focused, and I believe I will be a great addition to your program.
